I recently bought a car and I have no idea what auto insurance is good and has great deals. Can anyone help me? Keep in mind I'm on a budget. Does anyone know what is a good company for me?
You can try:
Freeway Insurance
Esurance
Progressive
The General
Dashers
These are all cheaper insurance brokers. In the end it will mostly depend on the coverage you need, where you live, you're driving record, etc.
Some of the better but more expensive companies are:
AllState
AAA
Farmers
State Farm

You can find top companies offering cheap auto insurance from http://www.nationwidebillrelief.com

both seem cheaper than others, but shop around..they are all different
I go through Progressive Auto Insurance they are great. I got into an auto accident that was not my fault. They were on top of it. Now there is State Farm Insurance which is okay. They are high priced, and if you get into an auto accident they use crap parts for your car. American Family Insurance is the worst. They took 3 months to get me my money when a lady hit me who went through there auto insurance which meant I did not have a car for 3months. Thank Goodness for progressive auto insurance who gave me a rental car. Your choice who to go through. I enjoy being with my Insurance Company.
Check out insurance brokers in your area. They have access to multiple companies and can find cheap coverage for you.
If your car is more than five years old, collision insurance isn't the best deal. If you get it, go for a high deductible.
Be sure to get uninsured motorists coverage.
The premium you pay will be determined by several factors, including your age and where you live (in most states).
There are essentially two important factors when evaluating insurance companies: 1) cost of premiums, and 2) customer service, particularly when you've submitted a claim. Some companies are good at #1 and not good at #2. Some are good at #2 but not good at #1. Some are good at both, some are not good at either.
Comsumer Reports magazine (consumerreports.org) has done a survey on insurance companies that you may find useful.
